Abu Jayed Biography

Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi, popularly known as Abu Jayed Rahi, is a well-known cricketer from Bangladesh who has already caught the attention of cricket lovers. He is the best Bangladeshi bowler at this time, and recently Rahi is a Bangladeshi quick fast bowler.

He made his ODI debut for Bangladesh against the West Indies the following month. A rising pace bowler, Abu Jayed made his First Class and List A presentation route back in the year 2010 yet needed to sit tight for a long time before speaking to Bangladesh at the universal level.

He began his profession by playing a couple of T20I coordinates and was later on drafted in the Test crew. In a brief period, Abu Jayed figured out how to pick up the certainty of the bowling trainer, Courtney Walsh, and a portion of the senior players with his consistency in line and length.

It came as amazement for some when he was chosen in the 2019 World Cup crew without having any ODI experience. But he showed his talent in the tri-series leading to the mega event when he claimed a 5-wicket haul in his only second ODI match.

Abu Jayed Personal Life

In personal life, the handsome cricketer is still unmarried and has no girlfriend or dating history. It can be said sure that he is very young to have a relationship with someone, so it is a foreign matter to his large number of female fans.

He is a very dear traveling man. And when he gets the chance to go with friends. But now he is very careful about playing. Most of the day is very busy in practice. His love for cricket has come from a very young age and his father loves and inspires him for this

Abu Jayed Bowling Speed

Abu Jayed doesn’t think he’s a part of international cricket. He has been in the senior set-up for more than a year but has played in eight internationals only. It took him a decade of first-class cricket to get finally heard.

Jayed has only played one out of four Tests at home since his debut in July 2018, and even though he’s been selected for their last four overseas tests, that’s hardly a sign of consistency in Bangladesh cricket.

Yet Bangladesh has an outstanding swing bowler who spends a lot of thought in his bowling and has been, almost silently, the top wicket-taker in first-class competitions in the world since his 2010 debut.

Those are early days for international cricketer Jayed, but he has shown he can be a powerful swing bowler in Bangladesh’s attack in this brief era. However, it is spin that overrides swing in the mindset of the Bangladesh attack.

These days, Spin wins them a lot of home matches, which also meant much less emphasis on trying to find ways of winning abroad. There had been no tour-specific preparations in the run-up to the ongoing New Zealand tour (unlike their last two tours to this region), so newcomers like Jayed simply had to rely on their established skill.

“When I was watching West Indies videos,” Jayed said, “I saw that my pace on this tour was between 122 and 125 km / h. Now I’m bowling between 129 and 134 km / h on this tour. I have some confidence in myself that I can swing the ball. I can see that batsmen have to work hard to face my bowling.
